Our kite kits come with clear, simple instructions and quality parts. Most include flying line, and some even come with paints or crayons.
We test all of our kite kits to ensure that when finished, they do what they are supposed to do – they fly! We take the work out of kite making by providing you with quality kite kits to make your activity a success. From ready to fly kites to do it yourself kits, we have kite kits for all skill levels and event sizes.

Hi. My name is Catherine Gabrel. Kites In The Sky was built on my passion for kite flying. After a career as a Dietitian and raising my daughter, I had the opportunity to start a business doing what I loved doing, making and flying kites.
It all started over 3 decades ago, as two of my closest friends, Marti and Richard Dermer, were busy spreading the joy of kite flying by teaching people (mostly kids) how to make their own kites. They perfected a little plastic sled kite that was easy to make and guaranteed to fly.
They taught me how important it is that once a person makes a kite, especially their first kite, it flies. They shared their love of kites around the world to thousands of people, including me.
When Richard asked me in 2008 if I would like to take over making and selling their sled kite, of course I said yes!
My family taught me "anything worth doing is worth doing right and to the best of my ability". This is why it is so important to me that I offer only kite kits that really work. These kites fly!
I am always looking for new kits that are made of quality parts, with clear, easy to understand instructions. Each new kite is tested in different wind conditions to see how well they fly. As a result, I can offer advice and guidance on the best kite kit for your specific needs.
This year I am pleased to work with 3 new members of Kites In The Sky team. Together we strive to constantly improve the quality of service that we provide to our customers, with high quality products, quick service and expert kite making advise.
I love what I do. I want people to smile, to feel happiness, just like I do when I fly a kite.
